Tavasa was founded in October 2008 by Gaynor Paynter and Alison Fourie. Tavasa was formed as there was a need for a support group within South Africa.

Our aims are

• To provide support for people in our industries
• Bring together a group of professionals who can support each other
• Set standards for our industry in South Africa
• To spread the word around South Africa and overseas to potential clients, VAs and Transcriptionists to let them know about the industry
• To make Tavasa brand a household name
• Getting articles into the corporate world about our industry
• Marketing and advertising is an ongoing task within Tavasa
• Encourage our members to spread the word about Tavasa

Our benefits to members include:

Sharing/advertising job leads on Tavasa (we are not a Recruitment Company)

Contracting out to Tavasa members when we have in job leads and overflows of work. With this facility we are able to help companies who require larger jobs done by sending out a few people from Tavasa to assist.

We welcome overseas members.

The aims of the ebooks is to assist newbies coming into the industry and this is a guide to help them start up their own businesses, for sale at R110.00. Please send an email (see above) requesting which ebook you require when ordering, an invoice will be sent to you, and on receipt of payment the ebook will be dispatched to you.

We communicate with our members via messenger and skype, members are welcome to contact each other and us for advice and assistance when required.

Within our files section within the Yahoo Group Tavasa online, we have various files and links that can assist us if required, (Contracts, Templates, links to website such as Express Scribe etc).
